The chalet I stayed in at Welbedacht Game & Nature Reserve was amazing! It had a fully-equipped kitchenette, which was perfect for whipping up some quick meals. The room itself was cozy, with a fireplace that added a touch of warmth on chilly evenings. The mountain and valley views from the house were breathtaking, making me feel one with nature. Plus, the free in-room WiFi was a great bonus!

Although I enjoyed my stay, I personally didn't fancy the dormitory room's kitchenette. But hey, that's just my taste!

Tranquil surroundings, close proximity to animals, delightful scenic paths, adequately equipped cottage, splash pool a blessing. Bird lovers paradise, serene with beautiful wildlife. Breathtaking hiking trails. Splash pool an absolute bonus. Beautifully furnished cottage, every need supplied. Friendly and helpful owners. Memorable weekend in the mountains and beautiful valley. Expectations exceeded. We will be back.

We loved the freedom of the animals on the property, it was like being in a real-life zoo. The location was stunning, nestled in the mountains with breathtaking views. The fireplace inside was a savior in the cold winter weather, keeping us warm and cozy throughout our stay.

During our summer visit, it would have been nice to have clean ice cubes or a bag of ice in the fridge upon arrival. The trays of ice in the freezer were not clear and didn't look very appetizing.

I had a fantastic getaway with my family at Welbedacht Game & Nature Reserve! The beautiful dam was perfect for swimming and we had the unexpected delight of seeing 8 horses during our stay. It was a special experience for our kids and even our dogs had a great time. The cottages were well-equipped and nicely done, and we loved the extra crockery and cutlery. The highlight for us was the cozy fireplace, which kept us warm during the cold and rainy weather. I highly recommend this amazing place for families with kids who love outdoor adventures and wildlife.
